Alcohol Awareness Program

We had a very powerful alcohol awareness presentation this week that discussed how the choices you make every day can affect the rest of your life.

WhenSeanSpeaks. Inc, is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Charity founded in 2010 and to share their message for Injury Prevention and Alcohol Awareness, and to fund Research for Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment.  They are dedicated to spreading the word that Alcohol, Automobiles and Asphalt don't mix. It is just as important to be careful of whose car you get into as a passenger.  Sean and his Mom, Jenny, have taken their message to tens of thousands of young people to help prevent drunk driving and to make people aware of the consequences of their choices.

Students are encouraged to  show their support by

  • Driving Simulator: While wearing fatal vision goggles, which distort vision, an interactive simulators shows participants the very real and often fatal consequences of poor choices that are made while impaired or distracted and driving
  • Bean Bag Toss area:  While wearing fatal vision goggles, which distort vision, student attempt to toss the bean bag to hit the hole in the board.
