My name is Matt Zamarron. Students often call me Mr. Zam or Mr. Z. I am the CTE Engineering teacher for Hargrave High School. I have 10 years of industry experience and look forward to bringing real world experience along with my passion to inspire students to pursue higher learning in STEM subjects. I went to Lamar University and majored in Industrial Engineering. I also have two Master's degrees: Business Administration and Technology Management from Texas A&M University - Commerce, Texas campus.
I have 3 kids from ages 3 to 11: 2 sons, 1 daughter. My wife is an 8th grade science teacher for Dayton ISD. I'm a big home town sports guy, especially football: Go Texans! I'm a technology and computer enthusiast and my favorite hobby is photography, which I started about 2 years ago. My favorite movie franchises are Star Wars, Star Trek, and Marvel comics. I'm looking forward to the 2017-2018 school year.
Conference Schedule: Mon/Tue/Fri: 7:20 to 8:06 Wed: 9:01 to 10:27
Tutoring: Wednesday 3:00 to 3:30. All other days I'm here and willing to help, but prior notice is best in case I have an activity that day after school.

I also Sponsor the Hargrave HS Robotics Competition Team and Co-sponsor the Hargrave HS Technology Student Association (TSA) with Mr. Watson (construction technology teacher).
