My name is Matt Zamarron. Students often call me Mr. Zam or Mr. Z. I am a CTE Engineering and math teacher for Hargrave High School. I also am a sponsor of the Robotics Competition Team and co-sponsor for the Technology Student Association (TSA)
. I have 10 years of engineering experience and look forward to bringing real world experience along with my passion to inspire students to pursue higher learning in STEM subjects. I went to Lamar University and majored in Industrial Engineering. I also have two Master's degrees: Business Administration and Technology Management from Texas A&M University - Commerce, Texas campus.
I have 3 kids from ages 4 to 12: 2 sons, 1 daughter. My wife is an instructional teacher coach for science in Dayton ISD. I'm a big home town sports guy, especially football: Go Texans! I'm a technology and computer enthusiast and my favorite hobby is photography, which I started about 2 years ago. My favorite movie franchises are Star Wars, Star Trek, and Marvel comics. One of my favorite hobbies is photography. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I've created a photography business called Zam Photography
Conference Schedule: Mon/Tue/Fri: 7:20 to 8:06 Wed: 9:01 to 10:27
Tutoring: Wednesday 3:00 to 3:30. All other days I'm here and willing to help, but prior notice is best in case I have an activity that day after school.
