Greetings and Welcome! I love art and love teaching art! I have been an Art Teacher for the past 15 years and am extremely excited to be part of the Huffman ISD community and teach in Hargrave High School for the upcoming school year. I obtained my BS in Secondary Art Education from Seton Hall University and my MA in Instructional Leadership and Administration from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting museums, traveling (specially visiting my beautiful island Puerto Rico) and making art.

Our courses will provide visual arts students with an opportunity to engage and develop artistic talents through the exploration and investigation of various aspects found within the visual arts world. Students will engage their creative and imaginative abilities and will have the opportunity to explore concepts and ideas based on each course offering. Students will engage in the production and appreciation of artwork that will challenge and extend their personal boundaries. Work in these courses shall include in-depth investigation of media techniques, art criticism, and historical perspectives.

Get Ready to immerse into the Hargrave High School Visual Arts World!
